What we collect

• Booking details: your name, email, phone number, ride date/time, and package
• Signed waiver and operator agreement, including your typed name, signature, and the date/time and IP address of signing
• A photo of your driver's licence, collected to verify eligibility to rent
• Payment information — handled and stored by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number or CVC, only the card brand, last four digits, expiry, and cardholder name
• Newsletter signups: your email address

How we use it

• To process and confirm your booking and take payment
• To verify identity and eligibility at the dock
• To send your booking confirmation, signed documents, and ride reminders by email and text
• To send occasional marketing and seasonal offers if you join our newsletter (you can unsubscribe anytime)

Who we share it with

We use trusted service providers solely to operate the booking experience: Stripe (payments), Resend (email), Twilio (SMS reminders), and Supabase (secure database hosting). We do not sell your personal information.

How long we keep it

Booking records and signed contracts are retained as required for legal, insurance, and accounting purposes. Driver's-licence photos are kept only as long as needed to support the rental and any related claims, then deleted.

Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and unsubscribe from marketing at any time, by contacting us. We handle personal information in accordance with Ontario and Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA).
