The Best Jetski Riding Near Toronto: Lake Ontario Waterfront

Lake Ontario is one of the most underrated riding destinations in North America. Here's what makes the Toronto waterfront so special — and what to expect when you hit the water from Park Lawn Docks.

Lake Ontario doesn't get the attention of the other Great Lakes, but for jetski riders, it punches well above its weight. The Toronto waterfront has open water, stunning skyline views, and conditions that suit riders of every level.

Toronto Waterfront — Park Lawn Docks

We operate out of Park Lawn Docks, giving you direct access to Lake Ontario and one of the most iconic backdrops in the world — the CN Tower and Toronto skyline visible from the water at almost every point in the riding zone.

Conditions on the Toronto side tend to be moderate. The lake can build chop on windy afternoons, which more experienced riders actually prefer. Morning slots tend to be glassier.

What to expect on Lake Ontario

  • Water temperature: Cold until late June, ideal July–September
  • Chop: Can develop quickly — check conditions before you go
  • Wildlife: Occasional waterfowl and fish. Respect no-wake zones near shore
  • Visibility: Typically excellent. On clear days the full skyline is visible across the water

When to book

We operate June 1 – September 30. Peak season is July and August. Weekday slots are easier to get and the water is typically less crowded. Sunset slots go first — add one to your booking well in advance.
