A great ride starts before you arrive at the dock. Packing right means more time on the water and less time being uncomfortable.
What to wear
Top: - Rash guard or athletic shirt — quick-dry, UV-protective - Avoid cotton — it stays wet and gets heavy
Bottom: - Board shorts or a swimsuit — nothing with large pockets that fills with water - No zippers or hard hardware that could scratch the seat
Footwear: - Bare feet or water shoes — sandals can fall off at speed - Leave flip-flops in the car
Eyewear: - Polarized sunglasses with a retention strap — floating frames are ideal
We provide Coast Guard-approved life jackets. You don't need to bring your own.
What to bring
- Valid government-issued photo ID (required)
- Pleasure Craft Operator Card if born after April 1, 1983
- Payment method and booking confirmation
- Sunscreen (SPF 50+ — apply before you arrive, reapply at the dock)
- Water bottle
- Waterproof phone case or floating wrist strap
What to leave behind
- Loose jewelry — rings, necklaces, and earrings can be lost or cause injury
- Valuables you can't afford to lose
- Hats without chin straps — they will blow off
